Alyssa, born in Chicago and raised on the southwest side, has always been passionate
about HR and Recruitment. Growing up in a Mexican/Indigenous family, she developed
a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and communities. Her childhood memories of
accompanying her father to the VA and engaging with veterans inspired her lifelong
commitment to supporting veterans and military families, especially being a vet-
spouse. Alyssa's career focuses on empowering diverse talent, with a special
emphasis on neurodiversity and disability, advocating for awareness and support at
every step.

Throughout her career, Alyssa has been a driving force in fostering diversity, equity,
and inclusion within the workplace. She has co-founded multiple Employee Resource
Groups (ERG's) and provided invaluable DEI consultation to organizations. Her
professional journey is filled with impactful volunteer efforts with veteran non-profits,
where she pioneered and launched a new department to bridge career assistance for
veterans with integrating the gaming community for innovative support. Her
dedication and efforts reflect her genuine care and belief in the power of community
and the importance of inclusive environments.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Organizational Management
and her Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Business
Analytics. Now residing in Texas, outside of her professional life, Alyssa loves to travel
and finds road trips a perfect way to recharge and slow down. Alyssa's blend of
professional expertise, heartfelt dedication, and love for new experiences make her a
warm and approachable presence in the HR and Recruitment field.
